    this is Google page rank it starts from PR0 to PR10, if you download the google toolbar you will see a green bar this is telling you what PR the site has.

    You get PR from links from other websites ie. you link from a PR4 say and your site gets a PR3 (not just like that but thats the idea)

    There is quite alot of infomation about PR but that is the gist of it, also alot might not agree with this, but PR doesnt meen anything these days.

    lol - PR = nothing important, except to make money
    from other webmasters that think it means something
    to be listed on a high PR site. so basically they're all
    feeding off each other - LOL

    example: I have a PR2 site= 6,300 - 6,500 u/visitors a day :)
    and a PR 5 site (longer online) only 300 u/visitors a day :-/

    its nothing to worry about. my site has PR5 and i am getting killed by sites with PR3 or less. like i said nothing to worry about !

    It's only important to those that sell links, newbies that think PR equals value and traffic, and buyers who don't know how else to judge the value of a site or domain.
    Of course you want it, but its a small part of the over all picture.
