Hi There, I think PR1 PR2 e.c.t are the page ranking i.e PR1 would be on the first page of search results.
do not listen to dilla, this is incorrect, PR is an antiquated system of jugding how much a page is trusted by google, most people now know that PR means absolutely nothing at all. The only way to get PR is to have sites that have PR link to you, but this is simply a notion which link sellers use to justify there prices, in this theory the higher the PR the better, however it means nothing at all to put it bluntly. hope that helps.
PageRank is a link analysis algorithm, named after Larry Page, used by the Google Internet search engine that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is also called the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E). The name "PageRank" is a trademark of Google, and the PageRank process has been patented . However, the patent is assigned to Stanford University and not to Google. Google has exclusive license rights on the patent from Stanford University. The university received 1.8 million shares of Google in exchange for use of the patent; the shares were sold in 2005 for $336 million.
search engines grade your website or blog with certain tactics and measurements finally they grands us a badge for our reputation
Completely wrong. Don't answer questions if you've got no idea - it just confuses people who don't realise you're an idiot. PageRank is part of the Google algorithm. It relies mostly on backlinks and is a figure between 0 to 10, 0 being the lowest, 10 being reserved for sites like www.whitehouse.gov. It has no direct correlation with the position in search results.
You should have searched the forums before you asked this question, it's been discussed many times. If you have PR5 for example it means you have links to your website from high quality websites with lots of authority from Google. Like Magda said above, it doesn't have a direct correlation with your website's position in the SERPs but it seems to get people on this forum happy and often when you get a little PR it tends to give webmasters false hope and get them happy. Haha.
In a nutshell, it considers links to be like votes. In addition, it considers that some votes are more important than others. PageRank is Google’s system of counting link votes and determining which pages are most important based on them. These scores are then used along with many other things to determine if a page will rank well in a search.

That's is completely incorrect. PR stands for Page Rank and is Google's mathematically calculated formula involving, backlinks, domain age, popularity, and other things to give an approximate "ranking" of the page. This is not the most important thing regarding your SERP, and is not an indication of your SERP. Meaning that you can have a PR or 4 or 5, and be on page 47 of Google. Imagine if your PR was a clear indication of what your SERP was... With billions and billions of websites wanting to be ranked, and PR only ranging up to 10, that'd be a lot of people on page 1.
its mean that if any one make new website then that site have no page rank. if website have a good traffic then their page rank will be good
