What is PLR articles ?

    What is PLR articles ? I want to know about PLR articles and whether they increase google rankings and traffic.

    I am new to SEO profession. I am learning many new things on SEO and thanks to DP

    PLR articles are Private Label Rights articles, meaning anyone can use them. In general, you want to rewrite PLR's in order to have them be more effective SEO wise.

    PLR stands for Private Label Rights(Thanks Ducati, for mentioning). PLR articles are written by some body and are put to sale. As by themselves, PLR articles are good for the first time users, but after that when they are copied and used by others, they loose their essence as the redundant sites are just named to be plagiarised.

    It is advisable to take PLR articles on SEO and rephrase them and build the content by your own. That means, your article will sound same as a PLR article but looks different for search engines.
