what is pipe, guy??

Hello Dpers,

would like to know what Pipe is? I went to their yahoo pipe sites but couldn't really understand.

Could someone gives me a simple phrase or example on pipe plz.

I visit pipes.yahoo.com but I still don't understand how to use it.
