What is Ping and how does it work in SEO

    In simple terms, Pinging is like raising the red flag on the mailbox to tell the mailman you have new mail to be sent. In this case, you are telling the search engines and other weblog tracking sites that your site has been updated.

    Hi pinging is sort of like telling search engine you've updated your site so they can come crawling and ranking you =)
