    i actually got a notice ontime on my account that my payment was on hold until i got a phone call verifying my account. They called me and it was all good. No idea why they bothered to do it.

    I had to verify my number as well. It was automated and took less them 30 seconds.

    Have those of you who're getting this verified your address already..I mean the PIN and have been paid by google before?

    Do you think they are trying to replace the PIN system with the new system? It would be pretty cool...I haven't been asked to verify my phone number yet. :)

    Call who ? AdSense ? Whats the number ? I guess in this thread, AdSense will call you to verify not the other way.

    I just did my phone verification, and I think that is a way for G to verify your phone number is a real and valid one.

    How can I get my account verified through phone call? I need G to call me but there is no such option of phone number verification in my account :(

    That's really bad that phone verification is only available for people living in USA. This feature must be opened for everyone around the globe.
