Pay per click (PPC) is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the hosting service when the ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system.

    easy example is that
    For Advertisor
Suppose you create an account with adwords and want to advertise your site and u have a balance of 100$ so if you are going for pay per click advertising then u pick a rate per click suppose 0.10$ perclick so when a user clicks on your add 0.10 dollars reduce from your account and for 100$ u get 1000 visitors to your site

    For Publisher

Suppose you have a site and want to place adds on it the pay per click rate of advertiser is 0.5 so if your site receives 50 clicks from that advertiser then you earn 25 $

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is a widely used form of paying for advertisements on the Internet. The basic premise of PPC advertising is that humans who acquirement links on seek engines or on sites that apply search engine ads, like blogs, alone pay for their ads if a chump clicks on the advertisement link.

For advertiser: It's a way to advertise your site. Every person clicks your ad, you pay the PPC provider.
For publisher: You'll get % for every ad clicked on your site.

BTW, I know how to advertise your site for FREE with PPC.
