what is paid traffic for?

    i've seen on the traffic forum a lot of offers...is this good for ranks somewhere? or only in case you can convert that traffic into something?
    is it worth buying for SEO maybe?

    Well if your targeted audiences frequent those high traffic forums then it would be worth doing it because people who land on your website expect to get what they want, thus converting them becomes easier. If you are unsure about it, try a test campaign and analyze the results and you would get a clear picture of what is working and what is not.
