CTR stands for clickthrough rate, and in the simplest form, it is the number of clicks an ad receives divided by the number of times the ad, ad unit, or page is viewed. In other words, it is the percentage of how many clicks an ad received (based on how many views it received).

To figure up your CTR, divide your number of clicks by the number of impressions.

    (# of Clicks)
    ------------------
    (# of impressions)

    Hope this helps!

It has been widely said that a HIGHER CTR (xx digits) is frowned upon by Google.

I have never had any problems. I am here to make money, so my CTR is a bit high... Not my fault my visitors like to click my ads ;-)
