Hi my Dear friend and all Digital point member..... can you tell me what is pay par click and Google advertising ........ thanks
if your advertising a site then click here If you want to display PPC ads on your site then click here There are two sides to PPC. People who advertise and people who display the ads. The links above should help you out either way. Note Personally I think advertising this way is a waste of money and would be better spent on other means of advertising.
This is only because MOST people who try PPC advertising like Adwords at Google have absolutely NO clue WTH they are doing. It is a VERY complicated process to do well. You can lose a butt load of money really fast and get nothing in return if you are inexperienced. However, if you know what you are doing you can make a killing using Adwords. If you want to learn about PPC, Perry Marshall used to have some decent books and ebooks out that explain the basics as well as advanced techniques. I haven't delved into it much lately.
I have to say your correct with your comments but I think you miss read what I stated. I said "it was a waste of money in my opinion" Again there are two sides to PPC. Those who display the ads and make money and those who pay to have their ads placed. My bad but I assumed that one would be able to tell that I was taking about those who pay to have a ad. Not those who display ads. Yes you can make a lot of money from displaying ads and I never said you couldn't. but I stand by that you could spend your money more wisely and get a bigger return then pay Google to show your ads on irrelevant sites that has a poor conversion rate.
PPC and Google Advertising is not something you want to start off with if you have no idea what it is right now. Get a little more educated about the whole online marketing scene before you consider these. It helps to read forums like this though to see what others have posted.
Amxfan I didn't misunderstand. I agreed w/ you that for MOST people (especially inexperienced people) using PPC to get traffic is just a money sink. I was simply saying that is not the case if you know what you are doing. Where I work, my company (before the economy took a nose dive into the crapper) was spending $3MM (yea... 3 million) per month on PPC Adwords at Google alone promoting a single site. And we made money... lots of it. Still spending about $1MM/mon and making money, just less of it in this economy. I was simply saying that PPC is often profitable even for those who are paying to advertise IF you know what you're doing. But the majority of the people who try it simply throw their money away because they have no clue how it works really. They burn through their daily budgets and get no conversions because they didn't target the correct keywords or bid too high or have crappy quality scores or whatever. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Simply Pay per click (PPC) is an Internet advertising model used on websites, in which advertisers pay their host only when their ad is clicked. With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system.
Pay-Per-Click advertising simply means paying to put a listing or advert to promote your website in the search engines. With a few variations, it basically means you're paying to get to the top of the search engines.
