My thinking is this...I don't think "organic" and "SEO" can really be put beside each other. Organic means natural and the way I like to define SEO (search engine optimization) is the process of proving to the search engines that your website is relevant to a specific topic. Organic search results or the natural search results are those that are not directly paid to the search engine, but instead based on an sequence of formulations (algorithm) that determine the most relevant websites for a topic and display them in what the search engine determines to be the most relevant. The process of SEO is then to undergo many different tactics to prove to the search engines that your website should be relevant for a topic or keyphrase. This wouldn't really be very natural if you need to do the convincing. Hope this helps.
