I look at it this way.. My veggie friends tell me that eating vegetables is more healthy. Well, cows are vegetarians, and that hamburger used to be a cow, and it's not looking to healthy now, is it???

    Heard that on XM...

best topping on a good juicy burger is raisins. i know it sounds weird, but you have to try it. i just put raisins and ketchup/mustard on my burger with some seasoning.

I just had my perfect hamburger. From the plate up: Toast the inside of the bun with a light amount of butter, add fresh crisp dill slices, meat, cheese, bacon, fresh romaine lettuce, fresh crisp tomato, fried white onion (in real butter), top with a few swirls of spicy ranch and a few swirls of tangy BBQ sauce.
How to properly cook the beef. Nothing beats BBQ but if you are forced to use a skillet or griddle first you season the cook surface with a bit of butter, then place your beef and let cook until it is an even color brown, flip and repeat. Once the burger is an even color brown on both sides you flip again and lightly press on the meat to squeeze out the grease, let cook until juices come to the surface, flip and repeat. This should be done twice but not more than three times while clearing away excess gristle and grease. The finished product should be low on grease but still very juicy. For best taste I recommend buying Burch chips for the grill or buying hamburger that has otherwise been processed with Burch.
