Hi amrish As per mine experience Nofollow links did not effect on the page rank . It is not helpful to generate traffic because Google is not crawl nofollow backlinks so concentrate on do-follow backlinks...
no follow helps you a little bit in your seo and it becomes a cause of direct traffic in your website .. Although Google n yahoo dont care about no-follows
I think you'll find the answer about nofollow and dofollow from the commenting above. If you get dofollow link from high PR site, you've hit the jackpot because it share link juice. Although that, nofollow link still benefit since it count as backlink and can drive traffic.
nofollow means your site will not rank according to those nofollow links. But if you have some nice and attractive content on no follow website then you surely get some traffic from there.. BUt search eengines like Google neva index you site with nofollow links.. You must prefer do follow links rather then no follows...But no follows are not bad as well.
It can not gave a link juice to your website, it can increase your traffic to your website, not more than it.

I have been seeing this term called "Google Juice", have you heard of it? It has to do with NoFollow and DoFollow links. Google crawls through sites, and passes on a bit of the sites "juice" to any links on the site that are DoFollow. This is why it is good to have DoFollow back links on sites with high PR. To answer your question, I think NoFollow links either get crawled to, but have no juice affect OR they don't get crawled which means that can't pass on any of that "Juice".
It will not count as a backlinks so that bot will not go through these links if it is not dofollow. Their are some parameters where google carries nofollow also but still we can not assume it.

No follow links not consider by google. They never gives any amount of traffic to connected sites. It wont affect any ranking.
