In my view, it means some specifying topic and not General. Like Niche directories are example of only health, or specified country but general includes All categories. Just my view......... Something just specified.
Niche means a specific area/field... for instance. Website design is the field... and "xhtml/css standards websites" is a "niche"
A category. Say you had a site about "sharpies". Sharpies would be your niche. If you had a site about blue colored sharpies, blue colored sharpies would be your niche. It's just an area that you focus on.
lol i dont think theres a difference between unique and very unique. Unique means some thing like "one of a kind" or "the only one".
I remember hearing something like "niche" in business class, isn't it like a term used for businesses when looking at financial charts/plans, like a fad or something? or maybe im really wrong
A niche market is a focused, targetable portion of a market. By definition, then, a business that focuses on a niche market is addressing a need for a product or service that is not being addressed by mainstream providers. You can think of a niche market as a narrowly defined group of potential customers. from Wikipedia.
For example, if I were to to make a web site on how to be a virgin for life, that would be a very unique site. aka a site that covers something that can't be found very easly on da internet!!!
