Hi Friend, i know the main Off page optimization consists for website •Keyword Selection for Submissions •Directory Submissions •Search Engine Submissions •Link Building •Blog Posting •Comment Posting •Forum Posting •Social Bookmaking •Press Release Submission •Public relations •Community Building •Link campaigns, such as asking complementary businesses to provide links •Three way link building •Two way link building •One way link building •Multiway linking but i want to know that any new trends come in it if yes please share it.
Google's latest patent is putting more emphasis on user activity (CTR when viewing SERPs, time spent on a page, a user's Bookmarks & Favorites, etc.) so it appears the future of ranking higher in SERPs will be based more on what users do after they click your site than what you do from an SEO standpoint. However, my guess is Google will use the new user activity metrics to fine-tune its rankings and not as the basis for the rankings. As a result, off-page SEO (i.e. - link building) will always be critical so Google knows how and which sites to rank for keywords in the first place. Good luck!
