What is "New Rate Sheet Reductions"?

Over the past few weeks we have tested and implemented server enhancements that enable us to drive greater efficiencies from some of our more costly operations. Therefore, we are happy to announce the following rate sheet reductions:

    -- addAds = 125 units (formerly 250)
    -- addCriteria = 25 units (formerly 50)

What are those changes? And how are they going to affect the Campaigns? Any comments guys?

It only concerns people/programmers who are using the Adwords API to add Adwords options to their own software. You're basically charged for each operation you want to execute using the API ('add a new ad', 'add a few keywords', etc.). They use a units-system to keep track of the costs: http://www.google.com/apis/adwords/quota.html

It luckily doesn't affect normal Adwords users :).
