I think windows 8 looks like windows mobile on a bigger screen.
Yes, it is certainly enhanced for touch screen.
But my question is, what if you don't have a touchscreen?
Yes it would still work, but I can't see it being very comfortable to use.
I much prefer windows 7. I tried the windows 8 dev preview and didn't like it much.

I have been testing windows 8 for awhile now (beta release) guys it is cool, @fiery duck, your right it was not the best but just like all beta release's you have to be patient. Many more features have been added and a few more on general release are planned.

I don't fancy the way they went with windows 8. It seems I will have a menu similar to my phone's, but I will have to click it.

Windows 8 does seem to be making some vibes, but the way it has been designed does seem quite similar in more than one way to many. I think it will be a waiting game to see how others respond to it, though I feel that it will have a mixed reaction from the people. For me I liked a couple of things like the look and the feel but felt that it didn't live upto the hype it initially created.

windows 8 is cool. and if any one think that is Fail that because they still didnt test it.
and belive when you will do ..you will hate it at first because its hard to understand from first time...but just after an week you will like it.
the problem is still there is no much compatibel softwars tell now because it still just beta version.
and its completly made for touch devices...so in desktops or Laptops..it will be littel not good.

The only thing that I can tell right now that is new in Windows 8 is that there is no "Start" button at the bottom left corner. :)
