What is .Net Framwork? How I can learn?

    Im unable to understand what is .net framework? I want to learn it, from where i can start? Any suggestions please.

    As I never code in ASP or utilise Microsoft Servers to any great extent I've never really bothered to find out about the .net framework even though its been niggling me for a while to go do it.

    You should download Visual Studio Express (Free) and try out C# or ASP.NET... they're actually decent languages
