--Summary for those who don't wish to read it all--
Hello all, my name is Jack Wall and I am currently developing my own spin on a 'Cashback/Incentive Shopping Directory'.

Basically, for those of you who do not know what this is, a Cashback Shopping Directory is a 'portal/directory' that contains links to Affiliate shops.

A customer signs up with my Directory to do their shopping, fill out surveys and the likes, and each month I pay them 'cashback' for their shopping out of the commission I earn.

    anyway ...

This is my first attempt at this kindo f site, and would like to pick the brains of all you intelligent folk out there.

Basically I am looking for any information/links anyone can offer on all the the Legal + Business things that are required for me to run such a site and business. I will be getting paid by cheque/paypal and will be paying either in cash (cheque/paypal) or by allowing them to cash in their 'Cashback' points for various gifts such as Xbox 360's, iPods, Stereos, TV's, DvD's, basically anythign and everything (although the trading points for physical gifts has not been finalised as of yet)

The kind of thing I am talking about here are :

Accountant, Register under Data Protection Act, Register as Self Employed, how would Taxes take part, in what way to register the company (if at all).

Basically anything at all you guys would recommend I should do, this is not a sign of me being 'incapable' of running such a venture, rather I am just hoping to get this thing running as smoothly as possible and wish to trade safely.

Any input would be appreciated :)

Before setting up your website, you need to have
the required legal documents on your site:

    1.Privacy Policy
    2.Terms of Use & Disclaimer
    3.Affiliate Agreement
(If you run an affiliate program)
    4.No-Spam Agreement
    5.Copyright Notice
    6.Earnings Disclaimer

to protect your business. For example, If you intend to collect
your visitors information, the presence of privacy policy
document on your website is very important.
