What Is Needed to Promote Movies on the BIG Screens?

I've read about Paranormal Activity phenomenal success, which inspires me to do the same.

PA production budget was about $15K, perhaps one of the lowest cost ever made, in return, their profits yielded a little more than 100 Million bucks.

What I'd like to know is... once the movie is made, how can I distribute it to Theaters or is there perhaps more reasons and step to it?

Any advice and suggestion is highly appreciatable.

By books about promoting films. You will be directed to producers, movie companies, talent agents, etc.. It is best to have connections. That is the key. Make connections with industry insiders.

Yeah!! You need to convince a distributor to distribute the reels. Also, making copies of reels requires a pretty good amount of money.
