Hello I was wondering what was needed to host this. I have 25 Proxy websites, can i use VPS hosting? What do you recommend? What specs should i get Right now i get 500-1000 views per proxy. Thanks Tyler
Strong proxy shared hosting (if you can find one will suit you) BUT you may mostly need a cheap dedicated server (VPS may or may not be enough) all depends on your monthly income from proxies (worth to upgrade or not?)
We would be able to host a site like this. www.hostparlor.com we have some specials going on if you goto http://www.hostparlor.com/special.php and use the coupon code for a yearly payment you will recieve a year for $50.00. Ask around about us We are a very good host with great support and uptime. Infact we don't even use apache...its to slow We use lite speed web server! Everything is still compatible. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee! Check out us and get ahold of us via live support for any questions!
I wouldn't go for VPS, Unless it had at least 512MB Ram. If you would like, I have dedicated servers starting from $30 which would be good for proxy hosting
Ok i just started another site i want hosted, its a file sharing site, so i think i need an unmetered dedicated or VPS server. Tyler
Well if you need unmetered bandwidth and a dedicated server with a big HDD, I can help, PM me with what you need
If you could post or PM your requirements we could do an offer for you as well. We have VPS on offer right now (pay 1 month get 3 more for free) and you could also get a dedicated from us. If interested please sent me your requirements or post them here and I'll get back to you. Thanks
Hi Tyler, I would suggest you to opt for a dedicated server instead of a VPS. A VPS has limited resources as compared to a dedicated server which may not be enough to host 25 proxies. We offer a wide range of fully managed Linux/Windows dedicated servers which you can view at http://www.eukhost.com/dedicated-server-hosting.php Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact us through Live Chat on our website or PM me.
