What is most used?

If you use 2checkout.com or plimus.com , they do accept paypal for you apart from the various credit cards. So that would work too, you do not need to just get a paypal account for this.

 

E-Gold actually has one of the lower transaction fees, but it's a pretty shady company on the whole, or so it seems at this moment.
2CO takes almost double the processing fees than PayPal and PayPal does sport the occasional extra feature.
2CO likes to hold funds as much as PayPal though, and probably more than them.

 

I would highly recommend you to use Papal,, as it is the best and accepted everywhere. However, Google Check Out is also good. It would be better to offer both check out and PayPAl, as it gives your customers with more options

 

I have been happy with MB.. Never any issues. As backup we use epassporte.

Like I said again, Paypal is only useful for those who have a Paypal account and it may isolate people who uses credit card or have not heard of Paypal or do not have such an account. I noticed that most corporate and business customers would not use Paypal.

You will need to have the option to accept credit card so expand your market base.

Like I said earlier, 2checkout.com would be your best option, not only does it allow you to collect payments from credit cards, it also allows you to collect payment from paypal. It is an all-in-one solution.

 

PayPal is the best it is accepted anywhere. It is good if you got verified paypal but if not, its not good

 

The answer is paypal, for sure. However, depending on your needs 2checkout or moneybookers can be a viable alternative.

 

i would go for moneybookers and then second to follow will be paypal
