One note though popular products may not sell for you as well because the market of people being an affiliate is full of them. If I were you I would use a less popular product with a gravity of about 20-50 ish, as these products are good sellers but are less promoted which means you can possible get more sales, since no one is fighting over you to push there affiliate link.
Ya. Ultimate Wealth Package was huge sales. Each niche has its own successful product. Like SatelliteSoft, Fatloss4Idiots etc.
Money & Employment is always a popular choice for choosing products to promote: https://www.clickbank.com/marketplace.htm?s=&method=Sort&c=65
If u r just starting off, try to promote, a good movie site. I found almost 1000 clicks per day @ 10 cents from YSM.
Any top Money and Employment products with great marketing tools such as banners and Classified Ads will do! ---------------------------------
If you don't know what to promote then thats not a good thing. You need to promote what you like first before you can promote things you don't know about. If your into cars promote products that have to do with cars, at least in the beginning. The reason why is because you will know how to market to yourself, thus market to other people.
You could always start with a product without a lot of competing advertisers http://www.siteflood.com/affiliates.php
Clickbank is where most people 'start' and because of that everyone is promoting clickbank products. Not that you cant do well, but its stiff competition espcially if you're only using PPC networks. I first started showing a net profit once I left clickbank and scouted around for individual affiliate programs ... ive done quite well with some of the ones in my sig Just a thought
