What is Most Important - SEO or SMO?

SMO and SEO long both important. . from SEO you get lots of organic visitor from direct or indirect website and search engines . but from SMO you get result from same website like facebook etc .

 

Both are very useful and important. But SEO is the best more then SMO. Because SEO give the targeted and unique visitors and traffic. Other way SMO give the unwanted and some useless visitors.

Both are helpful but only own places.

 

Now SMO getting more popular as it drives huge traffic and also search engines started giving more weightage to the SMO..

SMO gives instant results and search engines are always giving value to social media. You can get relevant feedbacks and traffic for your website. Do posting into targeted communities, groups and social networks -Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Google Groups, Yahoo Groups and MSN Groups.

 

My point of view both are important SEO AND SMO.

 

I think both are important, SEO is good for long term ranking in search engines while SMO is good for traffic.

 

Both are very important for business pormoting website.

 

I think that SEO is most important because if you get top ranking on the google so defiantly you will get more traffic and business also.

Both are important, however initially SEO is the most important thing to get the site ranked. Later we need to add SMO activities to get some more traffic for the site.

 

SEO means search engine optimization where SMO means social media optimization. SEO and SMO both are related with each other. SEO is the process of getting back link for your site where SMO is the way of doing SEO. So both are important. Different types of social media like facebook, twitter, Google+ etc helps to get traffic for your site.

 

I think you have to look at them as one in the same now because Google will start using social media status to help rank websites. The best way would be to have a strategy where you work on both at the same time each day. It maybe a little more work than usual, but traffic will also come to your site through social media while you build up your organic placement.

You can choose SEO if you want SERP and SMO if you want high traffic, Its depends upon you. Both have importance on their own niche.

 

Ya friends, both are different methods for promoting online marketing. SEO is use for getting relevant traffic on web , and if use SMO you guys get un-targeted traffic, not expect good conversion rates from SMO.

 

i think seo is the most important rather than SMO. Because seo help us to gain more & more traffic on your search engine.

basically both are necessary..............but seo is used to gain backlinks where as smo help to share the information broadly
