I'm doing some research on the SEO effectiveness between wiki pages and pdf documents. Does anyone have any input or suggested articles on which type of document (wiki or pdf) is indexed higher within the major search engines? In other words I have thousands of document within my website that are in pdf formant and am wondering how beneficial it will be from an SEO perspective to begin pushing some of those documents into more of a wiki format, thus adding more user participation.
