What is more Important one way or social media links?

    I have been building one way links for the last 7 years. I have never come across any problem with one way links, in fact I feel its one way links that ensure best results. But for the last 1-2 years there have been debate on what is good, one way links or social media. I would like to know your views on this.

    one-way links help primarily with rankings whereas social media can help increase traffic. so both of them are important in their own way

    all links are important, if you're using social media ones make sure you have good reviews about those links

    One way links are more important for search engine rankings... social media links doesn't helps your website for improving your search engine ranking.

    Social media links will hopefully drive human traffic to you website and that is your #1 goal. Links etc help you rank in google SERPs which should also drive traffic to your site but it is one step removed.
