    I usually use seoreviewtools.com/duplicate-content-checker/ to check Duplicate Pages.

    Navigation Optimization is easier way to visit your site. If visitor can go important page of the site through navigation, that is good navigation.

    Also be sure your website has a custom 404 page. That way, when surfers get a 404 message, it will be your custom 404 page, which you will have written in such a way to keep them on your website. I have a very short message and a Google Search box on my custom 404 page. My example: http://www.jimfeeney.org/custom-404.html
