    HI Friends,

I signed up for an affiliation program with a Merchant.
    It says
Commission Structure is 10% per sale. 7 day EPC(100) is $10.
I will get 10% of sales made by the people reffered through my site.
So my confusion is will i get $10 if i send 100 visitors for a period of 7 days eventhough none of them make any purchase on the merchant site??

Or let us say i am sending 200 visitors for 7 days What will i get if none of them are making any purchase??

What is meant by 7day EPC(100) is $10?

Could you please explain me indetail??

    waiting for reply............

7day EPC(100) is $10 means in recent 7 days affiliates send 100 clicks to this merchant and generate $10 in average.

Yeah, that´s right. As you said, it is an avarage earning per one hundred clicks.

Actually, it stands for Earning Per 100 Clicks and 7 days EPC is $10 means that during the last 7 days it has generated 100 clicks and $10 on average.

    Good luck!

If that information then, it helps you to easily work out what others are earning on average per click from using that merchants products on their sites.

This may then help you out if you are promoting the merchants products directly through PPC.

No you won't. You always get a 10% per sale when your visitors make a purchase no matter what the current EPC is.

If that were the case then I would have retired once month into doing all this web stuff.

I wish it was, but it is not.

EPC is an average of what everyone is roughly earning.

If you get 100 visitors and have no sales you get nothing.

If you get 100000000000000000 visitors and no sales you get nothing and in return your account will most probably be closed as the bandwidth will cost a lot after getting that much traffic with no sales. lol

No this is how it works.

If someone pays you 10% per sale, that means that if you sell a product for $50, you will get 10% of that amount before or after costs, depending on the merchants TOS.

EPC (100) is something that ShareASale uses to calculate how much all of their affiliates are earning on average. This informaton is there to help the affiliate decide what may be the best performing merchant's program within shareasale. It is just a statistic that is there to help us decide which program is the best to promote. The merchants that do better than other merchants on ShareASale are the ones with the highest EPC, which some affiliates then prefer to promote.
