I think DMOZ is only directory worth submitting to, as it has a high PR. But yeah, only for the backlink. The only thing is, its not that easy to get on DMOZ, they are VERY selective!

we can easily get large amount of dofollow links from dirs but it will take a time for approval but it's for long term benefit..

Some good directory like dmoz, google directory also give good traffic..
