Link wheels are nothing but a group of websites that are interconnected which try to improve the ranking of a target website by linking to target website. We try to built links in a way that the first website is connected to second and second one is connected to third one and so on, and last one is connected to the first one thus making a wheel.

I believe linkwheels work very well IF made by professionals basically you need to have 6 spokes in a mini linkwheel, then for exemple you use 6 different web 2.0 properties on each one use 1 ORIGINAL article with 2 links, 1 for your money site and another to the next Web 2.0 property, on the 2nd one you create another new article and create 2 backlinks and so on... then you need to social bookmark. this will work with time. I´ve used a few months ago 1 for a cleint with 50 Web 2.0 properties and is increasing all the 8 keywords we have used, some of them also reached page 1. So its a good option to SEO
For me Link Wheel is a SEO process to optimize a website. You must have a different blogs to build so that the link you optimize were play among it so that at the end of the day the link will come back to your main site that will cause you to have backlinks. I just didn't know if it is white hat or black hat SEO? Did someone know about it?

Actually the technique is OK but it has some minuses. Google is looking through the circle linking sites and if the linking sites are kind of linkfarming then Google punishes them. This will work out if sites have the pretty same content, ok pagerank, no adult stuff and no suspicious domains. Yep, then it will work great. So to prevent the bad way of this idea just be sure your linking sites are alright. Much work I have to say about it...
