what is Link code?

    Hi,

    One of my client ask me to optimize the link code. It was the first time i face such word "Link code optimization" in SEO.

    I have googled and found this is not but Link building strategy.
    Please guys i need your inputs and R&D on this.

    Maybe he meant image code?

    There are ways to boost keyword targeting via alt-text and the file name itself and such...but I there's not a lot of ways to do that with links unless you are making an image a clickable link...

    ...even then it's the image that is optimized, not the link code.

    I would assume link checking code is what your client is inquiring about. Some link checking software is better than others. I have submitted to sites that tell me over and over again, "Can not find your reciprocal link", when it is there just as plain as day.
