Really? hehe. Here's one of the directories I have a big commercial interest in, I don't mind giving this url out:

    http://www.thepubclub.co.uk/index.html

Still, a web url isn't a form of proof. I'm not going to give out my real identity on a forum, so there's nothing to connect anything with me. Checking the whois.sc info for this site won't help you either, so basically although you got a web url out of me, it ain't going to help you.

If a web url is taken in the context of 'I have directory knowledge', then I suppose it tells you something, but it won't tell you who I am. So why ask?

I'm not going to keep sharing my sites on here, so please don't ask again.

Getting back on topic, you need the standard stuff, as people like that and expect it. I meant outside the box thinking, you know, features that noone else has got, but would be welcomed by users eg: a way to promote advertisers that doesn't exist yet etc.

A very flawed design and idea - I think you know why.

Well, if it's flawed, then that's my problem to fix isn't it

How do you appeal to those without flash enabled or even without a flash-capable browser? Search for a town, obviously no listings in the empty directory, but there's no mention of that, just says 'Results'...and a big blank space:rolleyes:

There is no flash capability designed into it. It just uses html.

Like many other directories say, "we are in the very technical process of building the database". Isn't that the usual response given to empty directories, yet nobody gives a hoot so long as it rakes in the submit fees right? It will get a redesign later on, but it's not being promoted until after the design.

ROFLMAO... check your own web site before posting or at least ask your programmer / designer :D

    From domain registration info:

    Registrant: Complete Image Department Limited

Registrant type: UK Limited Company, (Company number: 6502137)

A name search at companies house shows a dissolved company and a search using the company number shows a completely different company.

Now I am no legal eagle but that certainly looks fishy.

Also, I thought you didn't work with companies which didn't have valid company information and VAT registration Event_King?

Sorry EK, I was going to spare you the embarassment of taking advantage of your dropped bollock. Ah well, it's out in the open now anyway. So, without further ado, HAHAHAHAHA.

You ran a search on a company and because Companies House says it's gone bust, you automatically assume it's gone bust altogether. You know nothing and the website is still up and running by the way - so it's still operating under the parent company right now.

Companies go bust, then restart again. We restarted, you can do that you know, and their isn't anything illegal in that. For example, we used to own a nightclub called Avenue, we then shut that down and re-named it Venue, again - not illegal. Companies house would be notified of the name change and thus the old name would appear as a dissolved company, pretty obvious that one.

Our club 'Avenue' never went bust, we just had a refurbishment under a new name. Thus Companies House records will show that - I don't know about any of this going bust, and it's certainly news to me.

Copycat directory? I ain't got one mate. And you'll never find my only directory either, cause you won't know where to look. Haha. Seems you've been 'in the red' for quite some time, for interest's sake, just how below zero are you?

I never claimed to know anything, just passing on the information I found. I also didn't state that anyone went bust nor did companies house, as you astutely pointed out companies can disolve for many reasons.

However it is odd that a registered company is displaying the company number of a completely different company in it's domain registration details.

What's it feel like to be an unknown directory owner Spider, because I've never had that.

It's good to be in the news, sadly it's something you will never experience.

Now it's my turn to laugh..... hehehehehe

Seriously? Even your mates laugh at you and think you're a prick, stuck up your own arse. Don't believe me? Just ask them, they're all over the social network (oh, and a couple have MSN, too);)

Ahh okay, but you were a tiny bit quick to do a search weren't you, and because of that, Spider is now giving me loads of shit. So you can understand why I'm not too happy about what you mentioned.

You could have checked with me first and I'd have put you straight.

Listen to me, I don't know who you think you're talking to - but you aren't talking to Liam okay.

You must be so sad to even waste your time with this crap, for the last time I am not Liam, I've never been in BB, never had an orgy (not yet anyway) and don't know anyone on any social networking sites.

Just think for a moment, why would Liam even come on here, surely not for the exposure, he can do far better using the press and radio. Me being Liam just doesn't add up - you're barking up the wrong tree my Spider friend.
