i want to know what is the exact concept of landing page?If that is a separate page with a full pitch and a small link at the end of page directing to cj website then why will the visitors read the entire pitch page???wont i be taking them away from my blog or website???Pls help me understand how will this help me?
I think there are a different styles of landing pages. What you're describing is the 'sales' letter style. A single pitch that entices you to buy by the time you reach the end. I've seen mentioned over and over that this is a little 'old school' and not very affective (but depends on your target audience). A classic landing page is small page that is quickly able to send you to the destination. They would write a ad for Google AdWords (or other PPC companies) with a link to this landing page. They can create multiple landing pages based off of multiple ads or/and offers. The point.. is they can quickly generate impulse clicks/purchases/actions without devoting a whole web site to an offer. HTH hanji
