Hello friends i am not familier about landing page concept and how it will work please tell me what's uses of it. thanks
A landing page is a page you've created specifically to serve as an entry point to your site. There are several ways people can enter your site so your landing page will be different for different types of entries. In addition, your business model should also dictate what your landing pages look like. For example, if you are using a PPC campaign to get visitors to your site then you want your landing page to immediately convert to sales. If you are an informational site that sells advertising space on your site and you expect traffic from the search engines then your landing page(s) should be some type of navigation page that will cause your visitors to visit more pages (giving more ad impressions to your advertisers). Bottom line, your landing pages should serve your business model and your site visitors in a way that generates the most revenue for you.
Well that about summed it up! Also keep in mind that a website (or blog) is made up of many different pages. Google doesn't aren't really listing and ranking websites -- but what they are actually doing is listing individual pages. Now when someone is searching for something that you have written a page about -- they can just Land straight on it rather than searching your site trying to find what their looking for. This just provides added convenience for your visitor.
all traffic on your site comes from various resources on one of particular page, which you have designed as per user friendly, for ex. Your inquiry fill up form, which is called landing page, this page is not related to form, but also basic information and main is where you want to drive your visitors is landing page.
Typically, when people are talking about landing pages they are almost exclusively refering to pages where PPC customers are directed when they click on one of your ads on another site (like a Google Adwords ad, a CPM banner ad, etc.). These pages typically don't even have links to anywhere else. The only option you typically give the consumer is to click through to buy something being advertised on the landing page or back button back to where they came from. Yes, every page on your site that ranks in the organic listings 'could' also be considered a landing page. But that is not typically what peeps refer to when they mention landing pages. Most are talking about PPC landing pages.
A landing page is the first page that your visitor sees. A landing page can be your index page as well as another page in your site, if that is where you are sending your traffic. Basically, its a page in your website..
Landing page would be just like a lobby where visitors will see as your Homepage. it is also filled with links tha will go to other pages on your site, typically Anchor text will tell the user all about what they'll be seeing when they click it but if it's not? this may cause confusion to users, this might also give bad effect on your site too...
