Sorry newbie here..but I want to ask how to optimizing keywords? I don't understand. In example: i want to build a website with keywords "banana". Now i have a website(only example..) "greatyellow.com". Now how can my website's keyword is banana? add meta tags keywords="banana" ?
Much better if you can have keywords on your domain name. Then create your content using your targeted keywords. Meta tags has less value nowadays but some search engine still gives credit to meta tags.
woah!!!kaka, take 1 step at time, the first step is go through forums like the.se regularly and few important blogs to understand the basic concepts. But most importantly, is your website got to do anything related to banana. in other words, take those keywords which make sense to the theme of your website.
<title>greatyellow</title> <META NAME="description" CONTENT="Banana, Yellow Banana,Delicious Banana"> <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="Banana,Yellow Banana">
This is not a meta description. Meta Description is a sentence that describes the page/site... My Two Cents Worth...
Now how can I search for how many people looking for that keywords in one month? for example, i want to know how many people used google in last month to search "banana"?
for visitor yes, but for seo purpose you dont really need to describe anything just make sure you put keywords in it.
In short, you can't, Google doesn't publish that kind of information. Long answer, actually you can - you can use the Adwords Keywords tool to get a rough idea of how often something is searched for: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal There are a couple more tools out there people can supply, I am sure. But the key again is to find that niche... Probably the word "banana" is already pretty hotly contested - not quite as much as "hot sex" or "download mp3", but still, quite tough to muscle in on. Maybe you need a more narrow definition - are you planning a general banana site, or something a bit more specific? Looking at the competition for the search term "banana", I see the Wikipedia entry is first, then some clothing manufacturer with the word banana, and then "banana.com", which is actually nothing special in terms of design and content. Perhaps there is still room for a really GOOD banana site! All the best!
OK, thanks. Now, i want to know about how you describe niche in banana(this is just example). look at this image: CLICK HERE do you think "nutrition banana", "banana tree", and "potassium banana" is niche? Or only "ripen banana" is niche?
Keyword optimization improves search engine rankings by accurately describing your content for people to find your site when searching for content There are three ways to figure out which keywords work the best for your particluar site: 1. Check Your Competitors 2. Check the pay-per-clicks 3. Use specialized tools (Keyword Density,Relevancy, Traffic, Searches per month) http://www.whiteflame.eu/articles/websites/05/optimize-keywords-in-3-easy-steps.php
i use wordtracker and it is good resource. I also like keyword discovery, plus i just found a new tool here in the forums that i like.
hey i want to ask about wordtracker. I knew many websites that can tell us about how many searches for one keywords in SE (wordtracker is one of them), but why it contains different results? For example in: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ and in http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ and another keyword trackers is different, just typed the keyword you want and the results is different each other, why is that?
That is keywords you put in your description tag. it must be like this ex. <title>Greatyellow.com - Your number source of Banana Informations</title> <META NAME="description" CONTENT="This site is all about all types of banana like Yellow Banana,Delicious Banana, sweet banana, banana and more..."> <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="Banana, Yellow Banana, delicious banana, "add more keywords here.."">
keywords are words in any content that specify the the meaning of the content like is was were can't be counted as keywords but clothes hat caps shirt etc can be counted as Keywords on which the meaning of the content depends!
