The total number of indexable links is called keyword density.

 

There is no set number. the article has to read well without too much repetition.

 

2% to 8 % is the assured as the best Keyword density approved by any search engine. Ezine article demands for 2 % keywords to the total content of the page.

google consider 2.5 to 7 % of Keyword Density.so make sure your Keyword Density is not more then this ratio....

By the way, could anyone tell me if it matters where I place the main amount of keywords? I mean, should I put them in the very beginning or it doesn't matter for search engines?
