What is KEI ?

did anyone see this term in relevance to SEO ?

can someone suggest an explanation to how it works ?

KEI = Keyword Effectiveness Index

It sounds like it is a ratio between monthly search volume and number of search results. In my opinion, it is not the best measure of keyword competitiveness/effectiveness.

 

It is KEYWORD EFFECTIVENESS INDEX (KEI)

The KEI compares the Count result (number of times a keyword has appeared in our data) with the number of competing web pages to pinpoint exactly which keywords are most effective for your campaign.
