I am browsing just for last few months. I do not have good knowledge in drupal. What is it, where is it used? In web site design or other web site work is it necessary to have knowledge on drupal? What's the definition, where in my country I can learn it? From which institution? Please help local people in bangladesh with some more responsibility.Thanks.

Drupal is a CMS (Content Management System) that lets you build a customized website with little or no knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. You do have to learn how to use it, and make your way around the menus, but I have found it all pretty easy. To learn more, the best place is in the Drupal.org forums.

Here are some sites you may have heard of that are built on Drupal:

I read somewhere Recovery.gov spent millions of dollars to switch from Drupal to some proprietary CMS (and that is actually GOOD for Drupal, if it can be even compared to the product with that price huh).
You may add to this list whitehouse.gov (it's like saying "Obama thinks Drupal is good!" LOL ).

Drupal is a content management system. If you buy a web hosting that has cPanel package such as Hostgator, you will be able to install Drupal on your domain through Fantastico. Drupal is free for the public to use.
