Hi. I would love a fast reply since i am trying to setup a new virtual machine/server, and have to choose an "ISO" with options like CentOS,Debian, Fedora, Blue Onyx etc. What is this and what should pick for minecraft server?

Any OS will work. However, I;ve seen there is a dedicated OS developed just for minecraft but never have used it.

an ISO image is a image of an disc - aka install disc or even a DVD movie for example.

In the case you're using, it's the image of an operating system that you can instal on your server, usually a virtual private.

MineOS CRUX is one that is used specifically for minecraft

    Hi,

ISO is usually a Disk image file format. In this case the disk image is of the OS. For the minecraft server you can choose CentOS or Debian. Both will do good.
