Most people doing internet marketing are actually doing what is called affiliate marketing Affiliate Marketing ... Affiliate Marketing means that you help to sell a company's product and get a cut of the profit. Normally, this is done by creating a web page or "Landing Page". When a prospective buyers seeks an item on the internet, their search words should bring up your page showing the items they desire available for sale. The buyer clicks on your link to a certain product which takes the buyer to the company's main site where they can purchase that product. The company has given you a tiny code showing that the buyer was routed through you and you then get credit for the sale. That is the basic concept. In order to become successful at affiliate marketing, you need to acquire knowledge in the latest and ever changing methods. Millions of dollars flow through internet sales and, if you know how, you can tap into that flow. You can make a very comfortable living in affiliate marketing. Don't know if that helps or if that is exactly what you were asking but that is basically the concept of people selling on the internet. Of course, many also have their own products to online market but than they are responsible for shipping the product, taking the sale, handling the returns etc. In affiliate marketing, you are promoting for others, you make money (if you sell the product) but don't have all the other responsibility. Of course, don't promote crap products because if the customer returns it, you don't get paid and Online/Affiliate Marketing is tough so don't believe any hype that you will make money overnight because that is bogus. You can make a very lucrative, residual income but yes, unfortunately, you have to put the sweat equity in to reap the rewards. Learn all you can learn and there are so many free ways to learn. Remember, just as you want to do, most people out there are selling something so be careful with the products you purchase and if they promise you lots of money overnight, STAY AWAY from it Of course to learn, you most likely will have to purchase products/ebooks to learn (many free ways also) just research the product before you buy to see what others are saying about it Again, good luck
