The theory behind infographic submissions is that someone would find your image on another site and use it on theirs and link back to your page as the original source. And, this should provide you with a very good backlink, so long as the site linking to yours is high quality and contains information similar to yours. The only problem with infographic backlinking is when someone uses your image and posts it to a site that is considered very poor quality. This could cause you to have problems with Google, who might think you are spamming your links on random sites.

Infographic submission is basically nothing but a fancy way of using an image to get traffic.
Make sure the image has your URL on it.

Graphical representation integrated with data leads to high user interactivity, more social media sharing, more traffic to websites etc. Promote it just the way you promote any link or blog etc. in the same channels.

Using any relevant Image or slide (make sure your website link are attached in it) published to the info graphic website generally called infographic submission.

A good infographic should get shared naturally. You could also take a more proactive approach by contacting websites directly and asking if they would share your content.
