Ever few days I get this annoying message that the index has reached its maximum... What does that mean? It asks me if I want to rebuild and takes forever to do so... Some days invoicing does not occur because we have to wait for this process... ?
It has something to do with fixing the indexing the database. We have one of the automated task stations set to rebuild indexes everyday at 11:00 pm.
Does it really need to be rebuilt that often? I find it seems to ask me about every week or so on its own. I usually always go ahead and rebuild it. How important is this, and at what frequency should it be done?
I don't recall why we set it at every day. It has been years since we set it up that way. We have not seen any adverse effects for doing it that often.
