    There's a new thing out called "Google". You should learn to use it first.

    @drhowarddrfine Your post are starting to grow on me, and thats the only reason I am posting. I totally agree Google holds the answer and if you really want to get technical you could head over to the w3c.org site for the draft specifications as well as good information that probably wont make it to the top of Google search results.

    Better still, search for 'html5 examples' then you get loads of working examples to find out if it's something that will interest you

    Just entering HTML5 into "the Google" gives you all those suggested sites and more good ones on the very first page.

    Mozilla / Chrome / Opera / Safari / IE 9....

    All kind of browsers built with a recent engine (Webkit, Presto...)

    Some tricks exist for IE 8 (and lower).

    you need to use an external script + js

    <!--[if IE]><script src="scripts/html5-ie.js"></script><![endif]-->
    Code (markup):
    This is the content of this script

    document.createElement("header");
    document.createElement("footer");
    document.createElement("section");
    document.createElement("aside");
    document.createElement("nav");
    document.createElement("article");
    document.createElement("figure");
    document.createElement("figcaption");
    document.createElement("hgroup");
    document.createElement("time");
    Code (markup):

    IE9 will be at least 3 years behind all other browsers in HTML5 support when it comes out the middle of next year.

    IE 9 is (or will be) an excellent browser which perfectly supports HTML 5 / CSS3 / DOM...

    http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/15/internet-explorer-9-beta-review/

    I'm an IE haters (just look at my pic), but i'm not stupid or blind. This version (IE 9) will be very close from what we can expect from a really decent browser.

    Yeah of course..Sure, all previous versions suck but IE9 is excellent. Should've been released years earlier but I love it. Clean, fast, organized.

    Absolutely false. See the link in my sig for starters. Next year's IE9 already can't compete with TODAY'S browsers. And while IE9 is shooting for a fixed target of compliance with today's spec, all the other browsers are moving forward and, by the time IE9 comes out, it will be AT LEAST 3 years behind all the others.

    IE9 will continue Microsoft's legacy of being the worst browser on the planet. Incomplete SVG coverage, missing CSS3 animations, transformations, flexbox and more, incomplete DOM 2 & 3, poor javascript interfaces and much more.

    Excellent compared to IE8. Shoddy compared to ANY other browser.
    You got that right but it's too late now.
    Are you judging by the looks or technical abilities? Are you impressed by pretty blinking lights? Fast? Firefox 4, coming in November, is faster than IE9 on Microsoft's own tests! So is Chrome.

    You can find some quality books covering HTML5 at my.safaribooksonline.com. As well as search Google to view what other HTML5 websites look like & how they function and find additional resources at your disposal to learn HTML5.
