Hi All, I am collecting data for my next article, I need your input for it. What should be ideal length of an article according to you. 1- Less than 100 words 2- 400 - 500 Words 3- 500 - 600 Words 4- 600 - 800 Words 5- 800+ words 6- Length doesn't matters. Kindly share your personal opinion....... I''' publish an article with this data on my blog very soon. You can check what others think about it
Hi, It depends on how much information you can gather and put it on your website. Actually for me length does matter. Just make sure that it is worthy to read otherwise, your post will just like a junk on them.
Length doesn't matter (the ladies will likely disagree with this). That said, it's pretty hard to convey a message in less than 100 words.
Depending on how well the content is written, and how compelling the content is generally I like 600 - 800 words. I rarely get all my thoughts out when writing a post with less than 500 words; unless I feel lazy!
hmmm... i dont want to say length doesnt matter because it does, for me..... id rather read 200-400 word article that has all the things i'd like to know that 1000-word article, which 50% of it is just fillers....
I also would say between 400 and 500 depending on your writing style. If you can make a worthwhile post in less than 200 words, more power to you, if you go more than 800 words, unless it is about information I am really in need of, I'd lose interest. But I'm no pro, just a new blogger.
500-600 words is ideal for me, but if I get interested in the topic I could read thousands of words without getting bored. On the other hand, many prefer short and sweet.
Honestly speaking, it depends on what I am reading and for what I am reading. Even 1000 words don't hurt as long as reading experience is pleasant and informative.
It isn't the length that matters when writing. It's the quality of the work. Ask yourself if you got all the information across to the reader in the article. If you didn't - maybe it should be a-bit longer. Also, make sure the articles are mistake free. If you're trying to gain long-time readers than simple grammar mistakes are critical.
