what is hn.kd.ny.adsl and why cant I Ip block it?

The other day someone or something at the hostname hn.kd.ny.adsl used 23 gb of bandwidth and so I tried to block that IP but IP deny manager wouldnt let me because it said its not a real ip address. So how do I block it? As well is there a wau to set up a proxy so that if an individual ip uses a certain amount of bandwidth in a day it gets banned?

 

you can get ip at logfile
and block it with your firewall if u use it or by .htaccess
