Hi everyone, i have a site, about one month ago,i submit the sitemaps to google spider, there were 18 pages indexed by google, but recently, the pages indexed is keeping decreasing, and right now is 8pages, does anybody know the reason, my site is http://www.3dcrystalex.com
I can confirm the 188 pages. The number of indexed pages can sometimes go up and down, in your case I'd change the page titles to be unique for every page or you'll end up with most pages disappearing from the index again.
Are you registered with Google Webmaster Tools? It tells you lots of information about any urls that google couldn't find or crawl, problems with sitemaps, meta tags - lots of useful stuff.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS250US250&q=website+services&btnG=Search - Here is a good example. My site is #10 out of 147 million results. 2 months ago the results for that exact search was 1.47 billion results. That is 10% of what they showed before. Now look at this: http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=website+services - When have you ever, in history seen MSN show more results than G**gle? Never. This is another "florida update" where they took millions of sites off their index who could afford to do G**gle PPC so if your traffic has dropped and pages are not showing using "site:" they are hoping you will drop some cash so hurry up because they need a few more youtube's. I welcome your comments...
Ha. Not only are they doing that they are getting away with it and now that they have gotten away with it, look out for more evil, one-sided money taking instances to happen in 08' They are taking a few dollars away from 10 of millions of the little people/website owners and they will take more unless they are stopped. This is by far the most illegal monopoly to happen on the net to date. The g**gle dance has nothing to do with 1/10th of the listings being shown at any given time. Specifically the dance has never fluctuated so much for so long so you have to look at something beyond the dance. Look into haw g**gle does this every two years just before their big stockholders meetings... Stockholders are interested in revenue increases, nothing else and I am sure because of this "booha update" that they have a positive increase in revenue since people are afraid of buying links and are spending more on their g**gle adword campaigns. Also if you were taken out of some of your serp's you are going to spend more on adwords, again. If you reduce the results to 1/10th of what the were you are de-listing 9 out of 10 pages. If they de-list 9 out of 10 they are going to see an adword increase, it only takes a small amount of common sense to see this, this way. It's so obvious.
