Hi all, I am just asking if most of you are also experiencing a low period of sales for the month of November 2009? I have been making sales every 3-4 days for the month of September 2009 to October 2009 and in the early November I still managed to earn 3 sales. But it is from 11 November till now that I have not earned any sales at all. What is happening? F.Y.I. I am doing article marketing with mini review sites for various niches.
If you were making sales every 3 - 4 days then it's obvious for such a gap.. People aren't looking for digital products that much when holidays are coming up. Probably sparing some cash for presents.. Al.
So you mean you are also experiencing the same scenario too? And you mean there will be lesser sales during the month of November and December? Maybe you might think that I am ignorant as I've just started Affiliate Marketing on ClickBank in June this year. I am still not familiar with the low seasons and high seasons for digital products' sales. Maybe you can reveal to me when are the low seasons and high seasons for the sales of digital products? Thanks.
Well I haven't made a sale since I join, can you share the trick how to make a sale? No one buy the click bank products atleast through my link
There are no tricks...only hard work... You need to do a lot of research and plan your strategies properly in order to earn sales and make a decent living online. It may seems hard but if you are willing to persevere and be patient, your efforts will be rewarded. And you have to understand that Internet Marketing is not a get-rich-scheme... if you are not willing to learn and put in efforts, then you will never succeed in making any money online... In addition, I would not advise you to take short cut from those self-acclaimed internet gurus who promise that you will earn big bucks online in a matter of 3 days or whatever just by using their products... Bear in mind that there are no easy routes to success... You need to work hard and work smart to succeed in any thing you do. Remember: "How you do anything is how you do everything!"
Swanton- I can confirm the same. For me it's been no sales for 10 days now, in fact shortly after the new analytics & new toc's I stopped making sales I know I'm still a newbie- but still I was making a sale every 3-5 days.. I am still proactive, still writing articles and twitching landing page and working on improving my ranking so by the time Jan comes and people start buying again, things will hopefully start picking up again. I thought I was doing something wrong as well. I think it must be the holiday season - depending on the niche we're in - some might do better than others. From one newbie to another - just keep at it and work on your ranking as well setting sites for other niches.
Thanks for responding! I am glad that I am not the only one experiencing low sales period. I have been working really hard, writing and submitting articles almost everyday and building up my lists and creating new landing pages. I believe I am on the right track and hence I am sure the sales will come to me again very soon. Hope it will be the same for you too!
Something is up, but you do need to be getting a lot of hops from targetted buyers before you can really spot major trends. I have had 8 days no with nothing despite lots of hops, lots or order page views etc. I have come to accept this is what you get with Clickbank. Do not expect consistency, there are too many variables.
No troubles down my end, been a really good month for m so far, I guess it depends what you are selling, try and find niches that are hot around this time of the year. @Infobookstore is forex the only product you sell? You promoting anything else? Might be a good idea!
Patch we have been here before mate, lets not start again. I don't just promote forex, I promote in about 6 different niches and about 30 products. Just checked and the problem seems to be at the order form as I have averaged 13% conversion at the order page for 3 months and this week I have had 47 order form impressions and no sales.
Lots of people check the order form page, it doesnt mean they are gonna buy it! Some people are curious about the price and view the order page.
I'm surprised no one's mentioned this yet, but CB is notorious for their affiliates' accounts to break down after awhile. Try creating a new account, and hopefully your sales will return. And make sure your CB ID is there. Click over to your order form page and scroll down; you should see your ID.
Even I am having this problem with CB. I get about 50-70 plus unique visitors every day (targeted visitors-not just random surfers) but no conversions at all so to speak. My stats for this month are 232 hops, 33 order form impressions and only ONE sale (in fact the only sale ever). And I was told that this offer converts very well.....Wonder what's happening.
50-70 uniques isn't that much, even if they are targeted. What's your products conversion rate? 1% 2%? If it's a proven converter, look into how your lander is setup and critique your pre-sell. Ask yourself "If I were looking to buy this, would this convince me?" Some days, my landers will convert, say, 2 in 30. Other days I won't get a single sale in 2-300 hops. Just a part of the game, and you can't let it get to you. Best of luck to you.
My CB sales are down but I know it's the time of year that's affecting sales. People are spending their money on gifts and Christmas stuff right now (rather than ebooks) so if you're promoting physical products then your sales will likely have gone up. I don't believe the CB account 'breaking down' theory either.
My ClickBank products have taken a big hit this month. Only one sale in close to 2 weeks. But the products I promote on other networks are doing quite well still. As mentioned, it just depends on what you're selling.
