What is great about Mac is what you can have with Vista

Mac is far better because of the interface designs and the default applications.

Vista sucks because of its default settings and applications. Here is a tutorial on how you can love your vista:

1) Tweak your VISTA and make it more like MAC see: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=737045

2) Use Adobe CS3. This is to replace WINDOWS DEFAULT which is PAINT.

3) Use Pinnacle Studio. This is to replace WINDOWS DEFAULT which is windows movie maker. (this would beat Final Cut on MAC)

4) Use Adobe After Effect. (this would beat Final Cut on MAC)

5) Use IE7 and above. and Firefox is optionaly for secondary browser.

6) Use Nero. (burning tools) but do not use make it a default application to open media.

7) Use iTunes and Quicktime for MOV. but not for MPEG.

8) Maintaince once per two months (use diskcleanup and diskdefragmenter)

9) Use Dreamweaver CS3 (for editing website)

10) Do not use Microsoft Outlook If you have it, uninstall it. Use Windows Mail.

11) Use "Snipping Tool" to capture images.

12) Use Aero Style. Not Vista Basic.

13) Get a good Mic, use voice recognition.

14) Use Windows Live. Use Yahoo Messenger Vista Edition.

15) Stop using BETA(s) softwares. They are no good for your PC.

16) Use JinxTunes (www.jinxtunes.net) to replace Limewire/Bearshare. Or use Bearshare instead of limewire to download SONGS.

17) Use PDF Complete. For eBook writers.

18) Make Windows Media Player as DEFAULT media player. except for MAC extensions like *.mov

19) Use download.com to check out cool stuff for Windows. This is the advantage of Windows. Cool Applications are mostly made for Windows and not compatible with MAC.

Vista works quite fine for me with the default apps, but point 15) Stop using BETA(s) softwares is a good point.

YeahI might have the beta one thats why its not working well. THing Ive notice the soundcard of this is choosy for the applications i will run. SUCKS.

 

I agree except about the IE part, Firefox blows it out of the water.

 

IE7? Are you kidding or what? Firefox, Safari, and Opera all are much faster than IE7. IE7 is a joke. I don't know about IE8 though...(don't want to test it until its full version released)
