What is Google's "social circle"?

    Today I got Phase called Google's "social circle" while I was searching in Google
    Can any one please tell me what is this?

    Google Social Search helps you to find out relevant content from your social connections or from set of your online friends and contacts. Content from your friends and acquaintances is sometimes more relevant and meaningful to you than content from any random person. For example, an online movie review is useful, but a movie review from your best friend can be even better

    Yep Social Search is hot right now. Social Circle is social search engine to find your network connections and etc.

    Very true. Not sure myspace ever had the complete domination facebook does though. I think it's amazing to see massive corporations like adidas promote their facebook page on advertising boardings instead of their own webpage. I read recently that facebook has more pageviews per day than the next hundred biggest sites combined.
    I guess there is always room for something slightly different to come along and shake things up. Looking forward to seeing what they have to offer.
