It's not deindex, it's keeping your site lower in SERPs only because it's a new site.
But I don't belive they are doing this anymore.

Restriction on the site getting indexed temporarily and lowing the site in SERP can affect the rankings. Google SandBox is not a Myth, so you can't know if your site is blocked or not.

Sandbox is a complete myth... Google representatives have confirmed this.
It is very true that Google filter websites that are doing illegitimate exercises for improving their rankings but this is not sandboxing. If you wipe out all the bad things from your website you can rank high in search results again.

Sandbox doesn't exist. Look at the list of services.

The Google Sandbox Effect is a theory used to explain why newly-registered domains or domains with frequent ownership changes rank poorly in Google Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS). In other words new websites are put into a “sandbox” or a holding area and have their search ratings on hold until they can prove worthy of ranking.

Google Sandbox is a myth, according to which a new website deindex by Google for some reasons. Although Google representatives have not confirmed, but webmasters believe in the existence of the sandbox.

It means that Google doesn't really like your site and wants to test it for some time by keeping it in isolation, if it is good then it will go back to its previous place in the rankings, otherwise it will suffer the Google penalty which is either de-indexing of your site from Google or falling back 1000 places in the rankings.

Sandbox is a deep dark place for all the sites which Google considers suspicious mainly because of their content or links. Sites that are in the Sandbox don't show in the SERPs and have very less number of indexed pages.
